The Playstation 3 has undergone several evolutions and new models are constantly released, while older models are discontinued. Each new PlayStation 3 model comes with new specifications. If you're interested about the specifications in your PS3, such as the type of CPU and the CPU operating temperature, you can look at your PS3's manual online.

     Look on the back of your PlayStation 3 for a white product label. Look at the lower-left corner of the label for the model number. The PS3 model number begins with "CECH," followed by a string of letters and numbers.

     Click the model number of your PS3 under "Instruction Manual." The manual will open.

     Scroll down to the "Specifications" section and look at the CPU specifications.
