How to Use a Keyboard for PS3

If you're the type of person who doesn't like entering words and phrases in your PlayStation 3 console using the included Dual Shock 3 wireless controller, you can purchase a wireless Bluetooth keyboard peripheral for this purpose. This allows you to type not only in games that support the keyboard, but also in "Search" boxes and the Web browser on the PlayStation 3.

Instructions

      Turn over your PlayStation 3 keyboard. You will see a battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert the included AA batteries into this compartment.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3 using the "Power" button on its case.

      Press the "PS" logo button on the top of the Bluetooth keyboard. This pairs the keyboard with your PlayStation 3. You can now use the keyboard just as you would on a regular computer.
