How to Access the PS3 PlayStation Store on a Computer

You can purchase games, movies, TV shows, themes and wallpapers for Sony mobile phones and other devices in the PlayStation Store. You can access the PlayStation Store from a Sony game console, mobile device or a PC. To access the store from your computer, you must have a specific software installed. This software can also be used to manage content to and from your Sony devices.

  Download and install Sony's Media Go. (See Resources.) Click "Download Now" on the PlayStation Media Go page. Click "Download" again. Select "Save" and allow the download file to save to your computer. Click on the "mediago_setup.exe" file. Click "Yes" to allow the program to make changes to your computer. Accept the user agreement when prompted, and click "Next." The software will install.

  Launch the Media Go program from the Start menu.

  Click "Store" in the left pane of Media Go.

  Select your country of residence, your language and enter your date of birth when prompted. You must be 18 years or older to access the PlayStation Store. Press "OK." The PlayStation Store will open.
