The Sony PlayStation 3, or PS3, has numerous optional accessories available for purchase. Many of these are licensed by Sony and are specifically designed and tested for use with the PS3. One such accessory is the PS3 Wireless Bluetooth headset, which replaces the standard, wired headset included in the PS3 retail package. Unlike the standard headset, this headset must be charged in order to work, as it does not draw power from the console.
