How to Remove the Front Panel of PS3 80G

  Unscrew the one screw holding the top shell of the console in place using a small flathead screwdriver. The screw can be found beneath the small rubber feet emerging from the left side of the console.

  Slide the top shell of the console off the PS3. There will be one more cover beneath this top shell.

  Unscrew the seven screws that hold the cover in place. Undo the two small clips that will continue to hold the cover in place. Gently lift the cover.

  Place a screwdriver against the clips that can be found in the PS3's interior. They are responsible for holding the front panel in place. Gently pry the front panel away from these clips.
