How to Delete a Grand Theft Auto 4 Account

When you start a new game in "Grand Theft Auto IV" on your PlayStation 3, two files are created on the console's hard drive. One represents your game settings (such as image settings or controller settings), and one represents the information of your saved game process. To delete a "Grand Theft Auto IV" account, you need to delete both of these files from your console's hard drive.

  Turn on your Sony PlayStation 3.

  Select the "Game" menu.

  Select the "Saved Data Utility" option.

  Highlight the "Grand Theft Auto 4" save file and press the triangle button on your controller. Highlight "Delete" and press "X." The "Grand Theft Auto 4" save file is now deleted.

  Highlight the "Grand Theft Auto 4" system file and press the triangle button. Highlight "Delete" and press "X." Your "Grand Theft Auto 4" account is now completely deleted from your PlayStation 3.
