How to Switch to an AV Output From HDMI on PS3

The PlayStation 3 is a video game console system released by Sony. It supports a large library of video games and offers Internet connectivity and free netplay through the PlayStation Network. The PlayStation supports S-Video, Component, HDMI and AV network connections. If your PlayStation 3 is currently configured to use HDMI output settings, you can change it to use AV output.

     Power on the PlayStation 3 without having a disc inserted in the machine.

     Select "Settings" with your controller, then "Display Settings."

     Select the "Video Output Settings" option to bring up the output types menu.

     Select "AV MULTI / SCART" and press "Start" to activate the new mode. Your PlayStation 3's output mode has now been changed.
