How to Pair a Sony PlayStation 3 Remote Control

The PlayStation 3 video-game console also supports Blu-ray and DVD video playback. Although you can use any PS3 controller to manipulate Blu-ray and DVD controls, there are more traditional PS3 remote options available. Similar to all wireless PS3 devices, PS3 remotes must be paired with the PS3 before becoming operational.

     Press the "PS" button on the remote control. The light on the remote control will flash.

     Wait until the light stops flashing. When the light stabilizes, the remote control will be functional.
