On your computer, Click "Start," "Control Panel." Locate "Network." Click "Network and Sharing Center." Click "Tasks," "Manage Network Connections."
Locate the Sprint mobile broadband connection. Right-click it and select "Properties." Click "Sharing," "Allow Other Users to Connect through this Computer's Connection." Select the "Local Area Connection" from the drop-down menu within the "Home Networking Connection" box. Click "OK" twice until all the set up screens disappear.
Plug the Ethernet cable into the PS3 and log in with a user name and password. Click "Settings," "Network Settings" at the start up screen. Select "Internet," "Internet Connection Settings" to enable them.
Enter "Yes" when asked about being disconnected. Select "Easy" as the "Setting Method."
Select "Wired Connection" and "Auto-Detect" for the "connection method" and "operation mode." Select "Automatic" for the IP address setting. Select "Do Not Set" when prompted to set the DHCP.
Select "Automatic" for the "DNS" and "MTU" settings. Select "Do Not Use" for the proxy server. Select "Enable" for UPnP.
Press "X" to save the settings. Navigate to the sign-in page to verify the sharing connections work. A screen should show that it "Succeeded" in "Obtaining IP Address," "Internet Connection" and "Playstation Network." You have now enabled sharing on the Sprint PS3.
