How to Remove an Update for Overlord for the PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 has updates for just about every game available. These updates install directly onto the system's hard drive and fix errors of the game and expand the current game play. This holds true for the "Overlord" video game on the PS3. However, if you no longer want the update on your system it is possible to delete the programming directly from the PS3's hard drive.

Instructions

    • 1

      Power on the Sony PS3 and wait for the main menu screen to load.

      Push the left directional arrow button to highlight "Game," then select "Game Data Utility." All of the installed programming is displayed in a list.

      Push the down directional button until the "Overlord" game update is displayed. Press the "Triangle" button on the controller to bring up the programming options.

    • 4

      Select "Delete."
