PS3 Wireless Internet Problems

PS3 Internet Setup

Home Internet Access
- Use your home computer to verify that the Internet service is working properly. If not, contact the Internet service provider.
Router Internet Connection
- Verify that the router is transmitting and receiving data. If possible, use another wireless device to test the connection. If you have problems, refer to the router's documentation.
Router Settings
- Verify that you entered the correct wireless encryption type (WEP, for example) when setting up the PS3. If you did not enter the correct encryption type, the PS3 cannot connect to the router. Also verify that the PS3 is using the correct identification name and key for the router.
