How to Remove a PS3 Network User From a Console

There can be multiple users on a Playstation 3 console. Each user can have their own backgrounds, downloads, and information saved on the console. When a user is logged on, all games are saved to their name. If they download a game or other item on the Playstation Network it is also saved to their name. It is possible to delete users from the Playstation console, and in turn, anything they have saved.

     Turn on the Playstation 3. Log in as the user you want to delete. Do this by scrolling down to the icon of the user and pressing X on the controller.

     Select the user's icon again once the user is signed in. Press the triangle button on the controller.

     Choose "Delete" under the menu that pops up.
