How to Play SRT Files on a PS3

SRT (.srt) files, are format text files of the SubRip software program that extracts the subtitles and their timing information from videos. This format is supported by DVD, DivX and several other video formats. These files are essential for playing video that includes subtitles. The Sony PS3 (Playstation 3) video game system has the ability to play several different types and formats of video from DVD to DivX to Blu-ray disc.
