How to Run a Java Virtual Machine Game on a PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) game console has many of the attributes of a standalone computer; however, the PS3's operating system cannot install the Java operating system that functions invisibly inside of a website or on the desktop. To run a Java virtual machine game on the PS3, exploit a hidden feature built into the PS3's operating system. The Java game must be downloaded on a PC first, and you will also need a USB flash drive. You will not have to make any modifications to the PS3.
