      Connect your Ethernet cable into an available socket at the back of your console.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3.

      Select the "Settings" menu, then find the icon entitled "Network Settings." Select "Internet Connection Settings," then select the option "Easy" on the next screen. Select "Save."

      Confirm the connection is working by selecting "Test Connection."

    Wireless Connection

      Select the "Settings" menu, then find the icon entitled "Network Settings." Select "Internet Connection Settings," then the option "Easy" on the next screen.

      Select the "wireless" option when asked to pick a method of Internet access. Select "scan," and the screen will bring up a list of available wireless networks that will be available to access.
