Turn on your PlayStation 3 and make sure the disc tray is empty.
Select the "Settings" option in the PS3's menu bar. Then, select the "Accessory Settings" option from the sub-menu.
Select the "Manage Bluetooth Devices" option.
Select the "Yes" option when prompted to register your Bluetooth device.
Select the "Start Scanning" option in the next screen.
Put your Bluetooth headset into "pairing" mode. The process for putting your device into "pairing" mode varies, so check the manual that came with your headset.
Select your Bluetooth device when it appears on the screen. Then, enter "0000" as your pass key. The device will register.
Go to the main menu and select "Settings." Choose the "Audio Device Settings" option and change the "Input Device" option to the name of your Bluetooth headset. Click "OK" to test the headset.
