How to Download Free Game Demos on a PlayStation 3

The PlayStation 3 allows you to download free demos of newly released PS3 games through the PlayStation Store. This lets you to try a limited demo of a game, so you can determine if you like the game before you go out and buy it. Your PS3 must be connected to an Internet connection, and you must have a PlayStation Network account in order to download the free demos.

Instructions

      Turn on the PlayStation 3 and scroll to the "PlayStation Network" tab on the main menu.

      Choose the "PlayStation Store" option from the sub-menu and select it by pressing the "X" button.

      Enter your PlayStation Network sign-in ID and password to log into the PlayStation Store.

      Select "Demos" from the list of options that appears once the PlayStation Store loads.

      Select a game demo you'd like to download. These downloads are free, so you can download as many as you'd like.
