How to Download Movies & Games to My PS3

The PlayStation Store makes it easy for users of their PSP and PS3 systems to easily download a variety of content, including games, movies, music and much more. With the PS3's built-in hard drive, users can download full game and movie files directly to their systems for immediate access and storage. Properly initiate the downloads and enjoy your favorite movies and games right from your PS3.

Instructions

  Turn on your PS3 system. Push the analog stick to the right to move the cursor on the main menu to the "PlayStation Network" option.

  Pull down on the analog stick on the PS3 controller to move the cursor down the "PlayStation Network" menu to the "PlayStation Store" link. Press "X" on the PS3 controller to launch the store.

  Access the movies for sale by pushing the analog stick on the PS3 controller upwards and pressing "X" over the "Video" sub-category. Access the games for sale by scrolling downwards from the main page of the PlayStation store and pressing "X" over the "Games" category.

  Press the "X" button on your PS3 controller while highlighting a particular game or movie to initiate the purchasing process.

  Select the "Buy Now" option, then "Confirm Purchase" to begin the download. AS soon as you confirm the purchase of the movie or game, the file will automatically begin downloading to your PS3's hard drive, and the funds for the game will be withdrawn from your PlayStation Store "Wallet."
