How to Connect a PS3 to a 48-Inch Vizio Plasma TV

Vizio plasma TVs have different video inputs (e.g., HDMI) for multiple devices. While it's possible to connect a PS3 to a Vizio using standard AV cables, the PS3 and Vizio are designed for high-definition viewing. An HDMI connection offers the best video quality. While the PS3 will work with any standard HDMI cable, the component cable must be for the PS3.

Connect the HDMI cable into the PS3's HDMI port on the back of the console. Connect the opposite end into the TV's HDMI port.
