How to Set up a USB Headset for the PS3

The Playstation 3 supports two types of headsets: USB and Bluetooth. USB headsets plug directly into the PS3. Almost any USB headset will work with the PS3, as long as it doesn't require special software.

      Turn on your PS3.

      Connect the USB headset to any available USB port on the PS3. From the PS3 navigation bar, scroll to the "Settings" menu.

      Scroll down to the "Accessory Settings" menu and press the "X" button. Scroll down to the "Audio Device Settings" menu and press the "X" button. Set the USB headset as the input and output device.
