How to Connect a PS3 to the Internet Using a Laptop

If your laptop is connected to the Internet, either through Wi-Fi or through a wireless carrier-provided Internet service, it is possible to share the connection with a PlayStation 3. This allows you to play online games, purchase additional game content and stream music and movies over the Internet. To do so, you'll need an Ethernet crossover cable and an available Ethernet port on your laptop.
