How to Delete a Search History on a PS3

The Playstation 3 video game system comes pre-installed with Internet browsing software. Used in conjunction with your home Internet service provider you can browse the Internet in much the same way you would using your home computer. The Playstation 3 keeps a history of all websites you have searched for and visited in its on-board memory. This search history can be deleted through the browser itself using your game controller.

Instructions

  Open the Playstation 3's Internet browser by navigating to its icon in the network section of the cross media bar and pushing "X" on your game controller.

  Press the triangle button on the face of your game controller and navigate to the "History" menu.

  Press the triangle button again and choose to "Delete All."
- 4
  Highlight "Yes" when you are asked if you wish to continue and push "X" on your game controller. This will cause the Playstation 3 to delete your search history.
