How to Remove a Flash Drive From PS3

By utilizing a USB flash drive, the PlayStation 3 user can load video, music, pictures and games onto his PlayStation 3. Once the PlayStation 3 detects the USB flash drive, it will automatically install the drive so the user can find the information under its appropriate category on the PlayStation 3 menu.

     Exit out of any music, picture or videos playing on the PlayStation 3 by pressing the "O" button.

     Wait several seconds in case anything is still loading or processing from the PlayStation 3.

     Pull the USB flash drive out of the USB port on the PlayStation 3.
