Things You'll Need
Instructions
Install the "PS3 Remote Application." You can download it from the Ben Barron Web site linked in the Resources.
Go to the "Start" menu on your computer and open "Control Panel." Double-click the "Bluetooth Devices" icon and click the "Add" button in the window that pops up.
Hold down the "Start" and "Enter" buttons on the PS3 remote until the indicator lights on the remote begin to flash. This means the remote is in "discovery" mode.
Click the "My Device Is Set Up and Ready to Be Found" box in the Control Panel on your computer and then click "Next." The computer will then search for Bluetooth devices in discovery mode, such as your PS3 remote.
Select the "BD Remote Control" from the list of devices your computer discovers. "BD Remote Control" is the generic name of the PS3 Blu-ray remote control. In most cases, your PS3 remote should be the only device on this list.
Select "Don't Use a Passkey" from the window that comes up and then click "Next." Your PS3 remote is now connected to your PC.
