Insert a flash drive into an open USB port on your computer. Select "Open folder to view files" when the AutoPlay window appears. This pulls up a window that displays the contents of your flash drive.
Locate the files that you want to download onto your PS3. Click on one, and then hold down the "Ctrl" button while selecting the others. Once all the songs are highlighted, press "Ctrl+C" to copy the files.
Click inside the USB flash drive window, and press "Ctrl+V" to paste the files into that folder. Allow the songs to transfer over completely, which might take a few minutes depending on the size of the files.
Click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the lower system tray, and select the USB flash drive from the pop-up menu. Remove the flash drive when you receive notification that it is safe to do so.
Insert the flash drive into an open USB port on your PS3. Scroll through the main menu until you reach the "Music" tab. Select the USB drive, and press the "X" button on the PS3 controller. This will bring up a list of the songs you have on the flash drive.
Select the tracks that you want to transfer to your PS3, and press the triangle button. Choose "Copy," and then press the "X" button. Wait for the files to transfer over to the PS3 drive, then remove your flash drive.
