How to Use the Memory Card From a PS2 on a PS3

  Connect the small end of the PS3 USB cable to the Memory Card Adaptor.

  Connect the large end of the PS3 USB cable to one of the PS3&'s front USB ports.

  Insert the PlayStation 2 memory card into the PS3 Memory Card Adaptor.

  Press the "PlayStation Logo" button at the center of the controller to power on the PlayStation 3.

  Navigate to the "Game" section of the Home menu.

  Select "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)."

  Highlight "Memory Card (PS2)" and press the "Triangle" button.

  Select "Copy" and choose "Yes" to confirm you want the data transferred to the PlayStation 3 hard disk.

  Enter a name for the internal memory card and select "OK."

  Press "Circle" when a message appears on the screen that reads "Copy completed" to return to the PS3 Home menu.

  Connect the PS2 memory card to your PS3 using the Memory Card Adaptor and navigate to the "Memory Card Utility (PS/PS2)" menu in the "Game" section.
