How to Sync PS3 Remotes

All wireless peripherals on the PS3 (including remotes) must be properly synced, or paired, to the PS3 before it will function properly. Unless you move remotes between different PS3s, this process only has to be done once. Once the remote or wireless controller is paired, it can be used to turn the PS3 on or off. In addition to playing Blu-ray movies, the Blu-ray remote can also be used with DVD movies or anytime the PS3 media player is enabled.
