How to Set Up Bluetooth on PS3

Part of fun of playing against others in online games is the ability to communicate, whether it&'s to trash talk, work as a team or chat about the game. The PS3 Bluetooth headset gives you this ability without any wires or oversized earphones and microphones. The PS3 Bluetooth headset is a small device that hooks around your ear and gives you the ability to hear and talk to others when playing online games through the PS3 network. Installing the headset is quick and simple.

  Charge the Bluetooth headset by either placing it in the provided charging cradle and connecting a USB cable into the cradle and PS3, or by connecting a USB cable directly into the Bluetooth headset and PS3. Ensure that your PS3 is on while charging the headset. The headset will flash red on and off until the headset is fully charged.

  Select the "Settings" menu on your PS3 homescreen. Click "System update." The PS3 will search for any available updates and download and install them.

  Remove the Bluetooth headset from the charging cradle and plug the Mini USB connector into the headset. Plug the normal USB connector into the PS3. The headset will light up green for two seconds to confirm the headset and PS3 have been synced.
