How to Clear the PS3 Search History

The Sony PlayStation 3 comes standard with a built in web browser. This lets you search the internet just as you would on a regular computer. Also like a regular computer, the PS3 saves your search history to make it easier for you return to previously visited web pages. If you want to delete your search history to hide private information, you can do that through the internet browser menu.

Instructions

      Open the “Internet Browser” from the “Network” tab in your PS3’s Xross Media Bar.

      Press the “Triangle” button on the controller to bring up the internet browser menu.

      Highlight the “Tools” option and press the “Right” button on the controller.

    • 4

      Highlight “Delete Search History” and press “X” on the controller. All of your searches will be permanently deleted from the console.
