How to Connect Jabra Bluetooth to the PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 was the first video-game console that allowed you to connect a Bluetooth headset. This is great if you are playing a game that allows you to talk to other players. One of the best Bluetooth headsets on the market is made by Jabra, and is easily connected to the PS3.

Instructions

  Turn on your Sony PS3 and the Jabra Bluetooth headset. Locate the voice button on the headset and hold it in until the headset light becomes either green or blue. This means it is in "discovery" mode.

  Select "Accessory Settings" from the PS3 menu, then "Manage Bluetooth Devices" and then "Start Scanning," in order to allow the PS3 to scan for the Jabra headset.

  Select "Jabra" from the list that appears. Enter in the passkey for the Jabra headset. This is either "0000" or "1234." Select "OK" to sync the two devices.

  Press the "O" button to go back to the previous menu. Select "Input Device" until it reads "Jabra." Your Jabra headset is now synced to your PS3.
