Prepare your PSP connection by going to the ̶0;Settings̶1; in your PSP menu and then going to ̶0;Network Settings.̶1; Proceed to the ̶0;Infrastructure Mode,̶1; followed by ̶0;New Connection,̶1; and then ̶0;Enter Manual.̶1;
Head to the SSID portion and set a name for your connection you can easily remember.
Give your connection a password by going to the ̶0;WLAN Security Setting̶1; and editing the ̶0;SPA-PSK (AES)̶1; option. Because this is a WPA key, set an eight-letter password you can easily remember to prevent unauthorized access.
Take control of your PlayStation 3 unit and head to the ̶0;Network̶1; option on the PS3 menu. Select ̶0;Remote Play̶1; and wait for the interface to detect your PSP.
Go back to your PSP unit and go to the ̶0;Network̶1; item and choose ̶0;Remote Play.̶1; Test the PSP controls to see if you can control the PS3 interface.
