How to Play a Two-Player Online Unreal Tournament with PS3

Sign into your PlayStation Network (PSN) account. You must have a valid PSN account to play online games with your PlayStation 3. Start Unreal Tournament III.

Choose "Multiplayer" from the main game menu. Select "Host Game." This option will allow you to set up your own two-player online game.

Scroll down to "Max Players" and choose two players.

Select the game mode to play on. "Duel" is designed for only two players, while "Deathmatch" can include bots or can just be played between two players. Other game modes, such as "Capture the Flag," are also available (any game modes that require additional players will populate the game with bots).

Set the map where the game will take place. "Biohazard" is the smallest map in the game, which is ideal for two players, as you won't spend large amounts of time wandering around the map without encountering your foe.

Specify the time and score limits for the game. Setting either of the limits to zero means there is no limit.

Choose "Invite" to select a friend from your buddy list or to enter the PSN ID of another player to invite to your game. You can bypass this to have a random player enter your game. Begin your game.
