How to Download the Things You Need to Play PS2 Video Games on the PS3

Specific models of the PlayStation 3 can play games released for the older PlayStation 2 console. These compatible consoles, identified by the presence of four USB slots, can use the hard drive of the PS3 to replace the hard drive and memory cards of the PS2. Before you play PS2 games on your PS3, you will need to download system data from the PlayStation Store and set up an internal block of memory to act as your memory card for PS2 games.
