How to Clear Suggestions on a PS3 Browser

Typing on the Sony PlayStation 3 Internet browser can be cumbersome. One feature Sony implemented to help with this, was the inclusion of a list of suggested words on the sidebar during typing. Suggested words are based on the letters you type, including words you have previously used. However, should you be working on a shared computer and do not wish others to see what you've typed, clearing these suggestions can protect your privacy.

     Turn on your PlayStation 3. Access the XMB button by pressing the PS button (the round button) in the middle of your PS3 controller.

     Press the left analog stick or left on the directional pad until you are under the "system settings" option. Press the "X" button to open the menu.

     Scroll down to the "Delete predictive text dictionary" option. Press the "X" button to confirm the deletion.
