PS3 Keyboard Functions

The Playstation 3 or PS3 is a gaming system released by Sony. The system allows for both online and offline game play in a wide variety of genres. While it is possible to navigate and perform most functions using the controller that comes with the PS3, there are certain functions that can be made much easier with the use of a PS3 keyboard.

Chatting
- Perhaps one of the most practical uses for a PS3 keyboard is to chat with other players during online gaming. Without the keyboard, the player is required to enter letters one at a time using the game controller. The keyboard allows for fast communication, which means less delay during the game.
Internet Browsing
- The PS3 allows for Internet browsing, which can take a lot longer using just the controller. The keyboard allows the user to quickly perform Internet searches while the built-in mouse makes it easier to navigate through links.
Mouse Functions
- The PS3 keyboard comes with a built-in mouse. This makes it easier to navigate during online gaming. A player can navigate using the normal control, but it is much easier and smoother when using the mouse. Because the mouse is built in to the keyboard, there is no need to have an additional surface to play on.
