Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert a flash drive into the USB slot on the front of your PlayStation 3. The flash drive should contain all photos you are going to use in your montage.
Power on your PS3 and scroll to "Photo" on the cross media bar. Scroll down to the icon listed as "USB Device" and press "X." Your photos will be displayed.
Press "Triangle" and select "Copy Multiple" from the menu, then press "X." Choose "Select All" and then choose "OK." All images will be copied onto your PS3 hard drive.
Return to the "Photo" menu and highlight "Photo Gallery." Press "X" to begin the software. The first time you use the software, you will be prompted to download a free update.
Press "L1" on the main menu of the Photo Gallery to open up the "Library Area." Use the left analog stick on your controller to highlight photos. Press "Square" to select a photo and press "R1" to add it to your montage.
After adding all of your photos into the montage, press "R1" to access the "Playlist Area." Your added photos will be displayed in a pile. Highlight the pile and press "Triangle." Then select "Edit" and press "X."
Title your montage and select a style. You can choose between "Photo Album," which will display each image as if it were a three-dimensional photograph; "Portrait," which focuses on each photo individually while zooming in on different features; or "Slideshow," which displays each image, one by one, on the screen.
Select the music you wish to use for your montage. You can use the music that comes standard with the software or import your own music from your PS3 or USB memory stick.
Press "Start" when you are finished to play your montage. You can then make changes or share the collection with others.
