How to Use USB Modem for PS3

USB modems connect to your network using a USB cable instead of an Ethernet cable. If you own a USB modem, you can still connect your PS3 to your network using an Ethernet crossover cable. The only major downside to using this method is the fact that your computer must be on in order to access the Internet with your PS3. If you are one of those people who leaves your computer on constantly, this should not be a problem. If you rarely use your computer, but love to play online PS3 games, look into getting a router that allows you to connect via a regular Ethernet cable.
