How to Restore the Playstation 3 System

If your PlayStation 3 is acting up, a quick fix may be to do a back up and restore of the system. You can always restore the PS3 without the backup, but you will lose your saved games and other media you have on the hard drive. Using any USB mass storage device, you can back up your information. Restoring the PS3 may fix temporary issues such as games freezing or corrupted files.
