How to Connect Another PlayStation 3 Controller

Connect another PlayStation 3 controller to engage in multiplayer gameplay. Some multiplayer games, such as ̶0;Tekken 6,̶1; let you fight head-to-head against your friends, while others, such as ̶0;Resident Evil 5,̶1; have you and a friend work together in cooperative gameplay.

      Use the included USB cable to connect your PS3 controller to the PlayStation 3. You will find the PlayStation 3 USB ports on the front of the console.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3. The controller should automatically sync to the console, but if it doesn't, you can press the ̶0;PS Logo̶1; button in the center of the controller.

      Unplug the controller from the USB cable and it is now ready for wireless use. Connect any additional controllers to the USB cable and repeat Step 2.
