How to Change the Background Color on a PS3 System Upon Start Up

A PS3 (PlayStation 3) Console is a multimedia gaming system that enables you to play games, music CD's and DVD movies. The home menu screen is the first screen you see when you turn on your PS3 console. It generally comes in a default color, however, you can change the color to whatever you want. In addition, you can make your home more interesting by adding your favorite background image.

  Turn on your PS3 Console and select "Settings." Select "Theme Settings"

  Select "Color" under "Theme Settings." Select the background color that you want to use on the PS3 Home Menu screen. The home screen is the first screen you see when you turn on your gaming console.

  Select "Background" in the "Theme Settings" screen if you want to change your background image. Select "Wallpaper" and select the background image that you want use on your PS3 console. Select "Brightness" and adjust the brightness on your home screen.
