How Do I Change My Avatar on the PS3?

When you log onto the PlayStation Network with your Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3), your user account is given an avatar to make it easily identifiable to other players. You will see this avatar every time you are logged into your user account. If the default avatar is not one that you like or if you're just ready for a change, you can quickly choose a different avatar using the "Settings" menu on your console.

     Turn on your PS3.

     Log in to your PlayStation Network user account.

     Select "Account Management."

     Select the option that reads "Edit Online Profile."

     Highlight a new avatar from the listing of all the ones available on screen. Press the "X" button to select it.

     Select "Continue" to change your avatar.
