How to Hook Up a PS3 Remote Via Bluetooth

The Sony PlayStation 3 has a lot of uses, including video game machine, media center and Blu-ray disc player. If you are planning to watch Blu-ray movies on your PS3, then the Blu-ray remote is a handy accessory. In order to use the remote, you will first need to pair it with your PS3 via a Bluetooth connection.

      Go to the ̶0;Settings̶1; tab in your PS3̵7;s Cross Media Bar and select ̶0;Accessory Settings.̶1;

      Scroll down the list and select ̶0;Register BD Remote Control.̶1;

      Press the ̶0;Start̶1; and ̶0;Enter̶1; buttons on the Blu-ray remote simultaneously when prompted to. The remote will now enter registration mode.

      Continue the BD Remote Control registration. The PS3 will automatically assign the remote control a controller number from one to seven. Once the registration is finished, you will be able to use your remote.
