      Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your powered-off Playstation 3.

      Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port in your computer monitor.

      Connect the Playstation-to-RCA cable into your Playstation's port. This cable comes standard with every PS3, so you should already have it.

      Connect the audio (red and white) ends of the RCA cable into an audio output device, such as a stereo or television.
