How to Go Online With a PS3 Ethernet Cable

The PlayStation 3 is more like a computer than most people think̵2;it can access the Internet for viewing web pages and downloading games, music and videos, just a like a PC can. The PS3 must be connected to a home network, which in turn is connected to a router that then plugs into a cable or DSL modem that accesses the Internet. To go online, a PlayStation 3 using a wired connection just requires attaching an Ethernet cable from the PS3 to the home network̵7;s router and making a few adjustments to the PS3̵7;s operating menus.
