Connecting HDMI
Attach one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI output connector of the PS3. Turn the HDMI cable around if it does not slip right into the HDMI output, because the HDMI cable can only fit into an HDMI connector one way.
Attach the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input connector that is on the video projector. Make sure both sides of the HDMI cable is securely pushed into the connectors of the PS3 and of the video projector. Turn on the video projector. Press the ̶0;Menu̶1; button on the video projector̵7;s remote. Navigate to the "Sources" setting on the video projector̵7;s Menu. Select "HDMI" from the "Sources" setting. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control again to exit the Menu.
Adjusting the PS3
Turn on the PS3. Wait for the "Home" menu to appear on the video projector, although the quality of the video seen from the video projector will be muddied and dark. Navigate from the "Home" menu to the "Systems" icon using the game controller and select the "Display Settings" tab. Choose ̶0;Video Output Settings̶1; from the list presented in the screen that appears. Press the right side of the directional pad on the game controller to move to the next screen.
Choose ̶0;HDMI̶1; from the list presented in the screen that appears. Press the right side of the directional pad on the game controller to move to the next screen. Choose ̶0;Automatic̶1; from the list presented in the screen that appears. Press the right side of the directional pad on the game controller to move to the ̶0;Confirmation̶1; screen. Press the "X" button on the game controller to make the settings active. Return to the PS3̵7;s "Home" menu.
Watching the PS3
Insert a Blu-ray disc into the slot at the front of the PS3. Wait as the Blu-ray disc begins to play the video content on the video projector from the PS3 through the HDMI cable.
