How to Copy Music From an iPod to PS3

Along with playing video games, the PlayStation 3 is a capable media player. You can browse the Internet, download and watch movies, and even listen to music. Most MP3 players work like a simple external hard drive so you can copy music directly to the PS3, but you have to follow a different procedure to copy music from an Apple iPod onto a PS3 hard drive.

Instructions

      Connect the iPod to the PS3 with the iPod USB connector.

      Find and highlight the ̶0;iPod̶1; icon under ̶0;Music̶1; in the Cross Media Bar on the PS3.

      Press the triangle on the game controller to bring up the options menu and select ̶0;Show All.̶1;

      Select the ̶0;iPod_Control̶1; folder and find the ̶0;Music̶1; folder inside it.

      Highlight the ̶0;Music̶1; folder and press the triangle to bring up the options menu. Select ̶0;Copy.̶1; The folder, with all of the music from your iPod, will be copied to your PS3̵7;s hard drive.
