How to Convert MP3 to PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 is a gaming device that is capable of playing Blu-Ray movies, surfing the Web and playing music. It also has the capabilities of recording music onto the hard drive. You can record a wide variety of audio formats onto the PS3, including the popular MP3 format. However, because most MP3 players do not allow you to copy the music from one device to another, you must first create an audio CD.

CD burner
Blank CD

Instructions

  Launch the media player you use on your computer. More than likely it is iTunes. Select a music playlist you want to add to your PS3.

  Insert a blank CD into the CD burner and click the "Burn Disk" button in the media player. That will copy the music onto the CD..

  Power on the Sony PS3 and insert the CD into the disk drive. The disk will load and a user agreement will be displayed. Press the right button on your game controller and select "Accept."

  Select the CD disk icon and press the triangle button. New options are going to appear on the right of the screen. Select "Import." This will begin the import process for the MP3 songs. Wait for all of the songs to be imported before ejecting the disk.
