Instructions

  1. Set-up

    • 1

Open up eye of Judgment PS3 game package. This should have everything someone would need to play Eye of Judgment with a PS3 or with a friend one on one. The PSEye tower does take some assembly so follow the directions and put it together then plug in the PSEye USB camera to the PS3, mount it on the tower and situate it over the player mat and put the game in the PS3.

    • 2

Configure the camera. Eye of Judgment will automatically take the player though the camera configuration utility. The player then chooses one of the four spots on the game mat to place the camera for optimum player control.

    • 3

Start a new game and play. Now that the contents of the PS3 game are connected to the console and configured the player will be ready to start the game.

    Play

    • 4

Start by shuffling the 30 card starter deck. Then draw five cards. If the player does not like those cards it is possible to replace them with another five cards which is called a mulligan by some.

    • 5

Set the cards up on the game mat under the PSEye tower and when ready press start to play against the computer in a one player game. To win the player must be the first to have his or her creatures occupy at least five of the nine spots on the play mat. Each turn a player can only place one creature card on the map called ̶0;summoning.̶1; The other play can attack and kill your creature card after it is played so games can last up to 15 or more turns.

    • 6

The point of the game is to occupy the mat with five or more creature cards however the player may not lay down a creature card in a turn if they don̵7;t have any creature cards in their hand, if the player does not have enough mana to summon the creature they want to or if the player does not have enough mana to place a creature on the map. Also the default time for a player to take any action is five minutes (this can be changed in the games setup) and if the time runs out the player forfeits their turn.

    • 7

Players perform spells using cards in the deck that are not summoning cards. Many times the player will want to use these cards before playing, or summoning, a creature card so they can add benefits or boosts to the defensive or attack power of the creature they will summon. Because the direction a creature is placed on the board regulates how the summoned creature card interacts with other cards it is important to pay attention to which way the creature attacks before setting it on the game board. Players can find out which way the creature attacks by looking at the bottom of each card. If players are still unsure of the symbols and what they represent the instruction manual does have a full description of the symbols.
