Instructions
Power on your Bluetooth earphones. Follow the instructions located in their manual on how to set the earphones to prepare for pairing. For example, some earphones have a power button that when held in will activate pairing.
Turn on your PlayStation 3 and scroll over to "Settings" on the cross media bar. From the setting menu, choose "Accessory Settings" and press X.
Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices" from the next menu and press X on your controller. Select "Yes" when prompted to register a new Bluetooth device.
Read the message about pairing your new device and select "Start Scanning." A list of all devices available for pairing will be displayed.
Select your earphones from the list of devices displayed. Press X to begin registration of the device. Note that you can only register one device at a time.
Enter the pass key into the provided box and press "OK." Your pass key will be located in the manual of your Bluetooth earphones.
Exit to the cross media bar and under the "Settings" menu select "Accessory Settings." Then select "Audio Device Settings."
Press X to access a list of devices next to the "Output Device" heading. Choose your earphones and press X. If your earphones have a microphone attached, you can set them as your Input Device as well. Select "OK" to save.
Start any game with Bluetooth support, and you will hear your fellow gamers through your Bluetooth earphones.
