How to Set Up a PS3 Account for Online Games

The online component of the Playstation 3 has expanded exponentially since its release in 2006. Once lagging behind the XBox 360 in online features, the PS3 has caught up. Unlike Microsoft's "XBox Live" service, the "Playstation Network" (PSN) is not an extra paid service. Anyone with a PS3 can sign up for a free account and jump online in minutes. Use either your PC or your PS3 to sign up.
